The Difference Between CoolTone and CoolSculpting

The Difference Between CoolTone and CoolSculpting

It is a great feeling learning about innovative solutions to help you achieve your goals. It is especially helpful to know that there are options to choose from so that you can select what is right for you. If you are looking into non-invasive, non-surgical body contouring solutions, there are two processes that you will likely notice: CoolTone and CoolSculpting.

Sometimes when you are looking at two different processes, it is because two companies have used similar names for their version. In this case, CoolTone and CoolSculpting come from the same company. Allergan has developed both of these body contouring processes to target specific cells. In the case of CoolSculpting, the target is stubborn fat cells by freezing them to block off what they need to survive, so that they die and can then be naturally flushed from your body.

CoolTone, on the other hand, targets muscle tissue. Rather than having the goal of killing them though, it is used to tone your muscles by strengthening them. The CoolTone process uses electromagnetic energy rather than freezing. It is not used to build muscle, but to tone it so you are able to achieve a toned and lean appearance. This is an advantage over muscle building workouts in that you aren’t putting on bulk which isn’t always desirable.

Some people opt to do CoolTone treatments after they’ve achieved the fat loss from CoolSculpting to get the end results they desire, such as a defined abdominal muscle. Finding a spa that offers both is a great option for being able to easily transition from one to the next.
